Our Approach
Brief history
Within the first year of the JOMARFO, 2020
We were able to sponsor 20 students in their education in all levels of schooling. In 2021, the second school year of JOMARFO, we were able to add an additional 22 students for a total of 42 students. In 2022/2023 JOMARFO added 60 more students giving a total of 102 students currently. Dreams can come true, with the help of others.
Education in Cameroon is not free. Even though government run schools are said to be free, charges imposed on parents, including registration fees, examination fees, amongst others, make it even harder for the poor. Thus because of the documented economic hardship in the country, thousands of children go without an education each year. You can change lives and give stability to families. Through education, the youths can reach for the stars, and obtain what they thought was unobtainable.
JOMARFO students are of all ages.
From kindergarten through college level. Both boys and girls learning how to read and write. Progressing from elementary levels to Vocational fields of secretarial, carpentry, automotive, electrician, etc. Professional fields of doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, computer science and teachers.
